SITUATION REPORT #3
SUBJECT: Hurricane Dolly
DATE AND TIME COVERED: Monday, July 22, at 12:00 pm through Tuesday, 12:00 pm, July 23, 2008 at 12:00 pm
● CURRENT SITUATION:
The National Weather Service just conducted its last Dolly related weather conference call for our area. The eye of Dolly will make landfall as a minimal Category 2 hurricane with winds at 100 mph in the Brownsville area around noon today. The National Hurricane Center has dropped the Tropical Storm Warning for Jackson County, Matagorda County and Brazoria County. The Coastal Flood Advisory for our area was dropped earlier this morning. At Pleasure Pier, the highest tide reported this morning was 3.8 feet. Feeder bands will continue to bring rain to our area throughout the day.
● AREAS AFFECTED BY THIS EVENT: None.
● RESPONDING OFFICES/DEPARTMENTS, RESOURCES COMMITTED: Galveston County staff is monitoring the situation closely.
● CASUALTIES: None.
● DAMAGES: None.
● EVACUATION: None.
● SHELTER: None.
● ROADS CURRENTLY CLOSED/IMPACTED: None.
● CURRENT UTILITY OUTAGES: None.
● COMMENTS: The Emergency Management Division is closely monitoring this situation. Conference calls are being conducted with the National Weather Service, State of Texas Operations Center and our regional partners.
We remain at Level 3.

Level 3 (Increased Readiness Conditions)
