SUBJECT: Tropical Storm Edouard

DATE AND TIME COVERED: Tuesday, 5 August 2008, 02:00 PM

● CURRENT SITUATION:

Tropical Storm Edouard made landfall in extreme Southeast Texas this morning.  The Galveston County Office of Emergency Management is standing down the EOC at 1:30 pm Tuesday afternoon the 5 August, 2008. 
● AREAS AFFECTED BY THIS EVENT:  Galveston County and surrounding counties

● RESPONDING OFFICES/DEPARTMENTS, RESOURCES COMMITTED: None

● CASUALTIES:  None.

● DAMAGES:  None.

● EVACUATION:  None.

● SHELTER:   None.

● ROADS CURRENTLY CLOSED/IMPACTED:  None.

● CURRENT UTILITY OUTAGES:  None.

● COMMENTS: The Emergency Management Division is closely monitoring the weather and will participate in the last two conference calls.  This is the final Situation Report for this event.

  The four (4) levels of EOC activation are:

   Level 1 (Emergency Conditions)
   Level 2 (Escalated Response Conditions)
   Level 3 (Increased Readiness Conditions)
   Level 4 (Normal Conditions)
