This video, produced by FEMA, discusses the benefits of the Galveston County Emergency Management Facility.  This facility is home to Galveston County Emergency Management, the Galveston County Emergency Communications District, the National Weather Service and members from the Governor's Division of Emergency Management.  During an activation, such as with Ike, multiple agencies are housed here to ensure an effective emergency response and recovery for Galveston County.
