The Galveston County Office of Emergency Management will be conducting Community Emergency Response Team training for Bolivar Peninsula residents beginning Tuesday, June 21 at 1:30 pm at the Eagles Lodge, 1835 Highway 87, Crystal Beach, 77650.

Training topics will include Disaster Preparedness, Fire Safety, Disaster Medical Operations, Light Search and Rescue, Terrorism and Disaster Psychology.  The training program will conclude on July 19th with a realistic disaster exercise.

All residents are encouraged to attend the program.  There is no requirement to join a team following training.
