The Galveston County Office of Emergency Management, with the help of the National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Center are keeping a watchful eye on tropical storm Nate.  Currently the storm is in the Bay of Campeche.  Forecast models take the storm either into Mexico or the Louisiana coast.  However, there is a great deal of uncertainty with the forecast at this time.

As the weekend approaches, keep informed of any changes that may occur with this tropical storm that may affect the Galveston County area.
