An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for a majority of Southeast Texas until 8 PM Sunday, with heat indices expected to exceed 113 degrees F.  All heat safety precautions should be taken whether there is an Advisory, or a Warning in place.  With this heat expected to persist into much of next week, additional watches and/or warnings are anticipated.
