Burn Ban in Effect for Unincorporated Galveston County

This morning, Galveston County Commissioners Court approved a burn ban restricting outdoor burning in unincorporated Galveston County for 90 days. Severe drought conditions exist in Galveston County and residents are encouraged to take all necessary steps to prevent wildfires.
