Heat Advisories and Excessive Heat Warnings remain in effect for portions of SE TX today. Afternoon heat index values as high as 115 are possible along the coast. Be sure to take proper heat safety precautions if you are planning to be outdoors today!

Isolated showers and storms will be possible during the afternoon as the cold front stalls near the coast.
