Galveston County, TX

Galveston County Office of Emergency Management, in coordination with the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), will be testing the county’s emergency mass messaging system on Thursday, April 2, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM.

The test message will clearly indicate that it is a test, and no action is required by recipients.

This test ensures that the emergency alert system is functioning properly to keep our community safe in the event of a real emergency.
