Galveston County, TX

Tropical depression seven has now been upgraded to tropical storm Fiona. It is still predicted for the Leeward Isles this evening and into the Virgin Isles on Saturday, reaching Puerto Rico by Saturday night.

There is still no impact to Galveston County at this time and Galveston County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service are still monitoring the storm. Remember, blue skies are the days you need to start preparing. We are still in the peak of the hurricane season with  74 days left.
