Gulf Tropical Weather Update

The potential tropical cyclone is still at 70 percent chance of development in the next 48 hours. It is still predicted to make landfall on the Northeastern coast of Mexico and follow through to Southern Texas.

There is no impacts currently to Galveston County and no severe flooding is to be expected. Galveston County Office of Emergency Management and the National Weather Service will continue to monitor the Gulf. Stay up to date by coming back and follow us on twitter @galvcountyoem and @NWSHouston.
