Galveston County, TX

The previous zone has no developed into Tropical Storm Karl. There is no expected impact to Galveston County at this time. The storm is predicted to stay a tropical storm and should begin to move to the southwest Thursday. This could produce flash flooding in the Isthmus of Tehauntepec  and southern Sierra Madre as it moves further south into Mexico. Galveston County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service will continue to monitor the storm.
